All our procedures, treatments and skin care regimes are prescribed, administered and supervised by a qualified Clinical Nurse Practioner who has undergone extensive training within the field of aesthetic medicine. She is an Independent Nurse Prescriber and a member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and United Kingdom Botulinum Toxin Group for Aesthetics (UKBTGA).
We provide detailed information regarding all our treatments and products and insist upon full medical history during consultation and discussing individual requirements and expectations with the client.
Private treatment rooms and confidentiality are assured at all times. We provide a 24 hour post-treatment advice.
Helen Hannigan - Past NHS
Helen Hannigan is a qualified registered nurse and independent nurse prescriber. Helen worked in the NHS for 29 years and her specialties include accident and emergency nursing, district nursing and left the NHS as a clinical leader to pursue a career in aesthetics.
Helen started working in the aesthetic industry 10 years ago therefore provides her patients with a wealth of knowledge alongside advanced techniques acquired from her vast experience in aesthetic procedures. She has preformed thousands of treatments to satisfied patients and this is evident in her extremely loyal
clientele base.
Helen believes in sharing her knowledge and empowering her patients at initial consultation, listening to patients is paramount as aesthetic treatments can be an emotional experience from the anticipation of the desired results and expectations. She has developed a reputation for her honest, trusted approach tailoring each treatment to the individual’s needs, explaining exactly what is involved in each procedure and discussing any concerns the individual may have.
Helen regularly updates her knowledge and skills by attending annual training workshops, lectures and conferences enabling her to offer patients the highest standard of care and best practice. She has also been involved with the United Kingdom Botulinum Toxin Group for Aesthetics (UKBTGA) in research and developments in the use of BotoxR which have been published.
Mr. Edgardo Schiavone MD - Consultant Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon
Edgardo is a Surgeon who has performed numerous cosmetic and reconstructive operations in the last 10 years. He specialises in; Face Lifts, Breast surgery, Blepharoplasty, Rhinoplastry and Liposuction.
He is registered with the UK General Medical Council and is on the Specialist Register for Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery (GMC reference no. 6079202).
Edgardo provides regular consultations, treatments and follow up sessions at Waterside Aesthetics alongside our theatre nurse who assists during
surgical procedures.
Edgardo volunteered and spent 6 months in Africa performing surgery on many patients with cleft palate and has since returned in 2011 to perform further voluntary surgery.
